Bahir Dar AWSEC

The Bahir Dar AWSEC was the first one ever formed and was the blueprint for all future school rollouts.

This is a picture of the main classroom.  We are very proud of achieving  a 1:1 student to PC ratio.   This is very rare. Our PCs are also all internet enabled.
Our classes have a 65% ratio in favour of women. It is our policy to increase the number of women in business.

Admission criteria are ages 16-25, with state high school certificate at least to grade 10. And the students are selected from the poorest families.
Example of class schedules.
