It is extremely important to Alchemy World that whilst we educate the next generation to break out of poverty, the current needs of the poorest people in the villages we operate in are met.
Frequently we witness large areas of malnutrition. Of course, we coordinate where possible with Foo Aid specialist humanitarian agencies but frequently these are unable to move quickly because of red tape, therefore we move in a provide food support to save the lives a risk.
In Ethiopia we have done so by providing staple food in quantity, but we are now looking to partner with specially designed nutritional supplements, like PlumpyNut (tm).
